I am a full-time doctoral researcher at the Open University in Milton Keynes, in the second year of my PhD. My area of research is morality in a business context, and I am investigating the ways in which senior business practitioners make sense of ethical issues in their work lives. I am researching this by interviewing a number of senior managers across a range of sectors, to gain an understanding of the way that they approach these issues.

I am trying to access a balanced sample including men and women, but am struggling to find appropriate women respondents. My research focuses upon individuals working at director level and above, in for-profit organisations within any business sector.

Participation would involve me interviewing respondents for around 45 minutes to discuss their experiences of ethical issues in the course of their professional lives. The interviews would be recorded to allow me to analyse them. All the data that I collect will be anonymised, and will be subject to the university’s stringent data protection protocols. Respondents would not be identified or identifiable in any part of the process or in my thesis.

If any senior women out there would be willing to make themselves available, I would be very grateful! You can contact me by email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

Thanks in advance.

Yours sincerely,
